Lena and Chris are having a baby. As Lena’s belly grows, she must put her cycling career on hold. Meanwhile, with a new job in population policy, Chris is bringing politics into the middle of their relationship. While the couple wait for the birth, violent memories from Lena’s past begin to catch up.
A tender portrait of one couple preparing for a new life, and a generation preparing for a new world.
It is also the story of the beauty that can be found in a journey of recovery.
